The site is built to remember as little about you as it can. This page lists what it stores, why, and how to remove it.

The short version
- No accounts, no newsletter, no checkout. The site asks for neither your name nor your email.
- Two small values live in your browser: your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and your choice about analytics. Both are required for an age-restricted site to function.
- Google Analytics 4 loads only after you press Allow analytics. Press Essential only and no analytics code is requested.
- No advertising network runs here, and no personal information is sold. The site publishes information about the Candy Shorts series and sells no product of its own.

Each value is written to localStorage and to a first-party cookie. Clearing site data in your browser removes both, after which the age check and the privacy prompt appear again.
Analytics, with consent only
When allowed, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, or Google Ireland Limited for readers in the European Economic Area) records the pages you view, a rough location computed from a shortened IP address, browser and device type, and the site that referred you. The configuration does not build advertising audiences. Google keeps event data for a period set in the analytics account, at most two years, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data, after which the prompt reappears.
Server logs
The hosting provider may write standard technical logs: IP address, requested address, browser string, timestamp. They exist for security and troubleshooting, are kept for a short period, and are not combined with other data or used to build profiles.
Writing to the site shares your address and your message. They are used to answer you and, for legal correspondence such as copyright notices, kept for as long as the law reasonably requires.
Legal bases in the EEA and the UK
Strictly necessary storage rests on the publisher's legitimate interest in operating an age-restricted publication and on legal obligation. Analytics rest on consent, which you can withdraw. Correspondence rests on legitimate interest and, where applicable, on legal obligation.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, object to processing, request a portable copy, and complain to a supervisory authority. Because so little is stored, clearing your browser data usually accomplishes a deletion request on its own; for anything else, use the contact address.
International transfers
If analytics are allowed, Google may process data in the United States and elsewhere under standard contractual clauses and, where it applies, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Minors
The site is for adults 18 and over and does not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has written to the site, say so at the contact address and the message will be deleted.
